SYNOPSIS:
A Legacy Novel
She was once his liar.
He was once her savior.
Cross Donati fills his days with the mafia, family, and responsibility. The wild boy is a distant memory. A waiting prince now sits in his place. An old debt puts the gunrunner right back into the path of his past, but he only sees his future.
Every king needs a queen.
Catherine Marcello learned how to stand on her own, and she no longer needs saving. The sly girl is far more dangerous now. A broken promise taught her how to live again. One conversation puts the hustler face to face with her first love, but she only sees heartache.
Every God needs a prayer.
The scars of their history runs deep. Every lie told, and each secret spilled hurts a little bit more.
Love does not care.
Love will not wait.
So, why does life keep standing in the way?

SYNOPSIS:
A Legacy Novel
A wild boy.
A sly girl.
Cross Donati defines trouble. He does what he wants because he’s never known anything different. He’s unapologetic, and he owns it.
Catherine Marcello is every bit a good girl … on the outside. Her entire world is a legacy, and she lives it. She’s curious, and she’s exploring it.
She chases bad things.
He never learned to be good.
They’re late nights, stolen cars, first times, fist fights, leather jackets, beaches, bloody smiles, and life.
They’re vicious and precious, dangerous and harmless, innocence and sin. They are love.
Love is killing for someone.
Love is living for someone.
Sometimes, you can’t keep saving your heart when it means sacrificing it, too.
Sometimes, you have to learn to save yourself.
Sometimes, love has to fall, crash, and burn.
This is what love is like when you’re a principe and principessa della mafia.
This is what love is like when you’re Cross Donati and Catherine Marcello.

Sometimes
I just want to write a review pledging my undying love for an author...
this is one of those times! I’ve recently said that Bethany-Kris is the
Queen of romances for the mafia and cartel. This is so amazingly
true... when asked for a reference in this genre, it is Bethany-Kris’s
name I give. Not even a book title, just her name because you can not go
wrong with her name on the front!
At the end of Always, I was seriously a sobbing mess. I can’t recall the last time a book has touched me so deeply that I cried, like my cat died. Seriously sobbing, snot running into my mouth and tears streaming down my face. I was emotional. I wanted nothing more for this wild boy and sly girl to fix it and live happily ever after. It didn’t happen but in Revere, Kris patched my broken heart back up. It took a bit and was not an easy road. Seeing Catherine find herself and her strength in Revere made my sobbing earlier worth it.
Cross was even more perfect... if that was possible. He was always so patient for Catty and loved her enough to know she had to go. He had to let go of her so she could better herself. It’s hard to work on you when you’re part of a couple. Catty had some problems she needed to focus on, Cross made her. I loved him more for this. The strength he had to have was though the rough and he may have just topped my top spot for male characters. He was that amazing!!
Revere is packed with action and love. Once I started, I was unable to put this down. Kris’s words flowed so effortlessly, it was poetic. I loved every person in this book. Reading about the family... the live and devotion and even the pain and hurt. You feel close to each of the families. Nothing in the trilogy is easy (well so far there’s 2 books but there will be another). This is a labor of love... it’s obvious with the heart Kris put into Cross and Catty.
I received an ARC of this book. I was not required to leave a positive review. Any thoughts or tears in this review are my opinions, my honest feelings.
