Stevie J. Cole

Stevie J. Cole lives deep in the woods of Alabama with her
husband and two precious daughters. She studied Epidemiology concentrating on cancer research but has always had a passion for writing. Some of her stories will strip you bare, some will give you nightmares, but the one thing she can promise is that she will always give you stories that make you feel.

Raw. Gritty. Love.
Because sometimes characters need to be flawed.

P.S. Stevie's greatest fear is the impending zombie apocalypse. Think about it: swarming armies of decaying, oozing corpses stumbling around with clicking teeth, trying to eat your face. Nothing about that is good. NOTHING!

I tell ya, you get these two ladies, Stevie J. Cole and LP Lovell, writing together and anything they come up with is bad ass!! I mean, it opened up to a straight up crazy scene playing out! Ronan Cole is one cold and calculating man! At 18 years old, he became the new kingpin of the Russian Bratva. He is a man who is conniving as he is cold and his devises all these devious plans to outwit his counterparts in other countries. No matter what, he is a man that is accustomed to getting what he wants when he wants it.

Camilla is just as fascinating. She is powerful in her own right as a cartel queen… the leader in Mexico. Although, no one knows she is the true leader. Some of the cat and mouse antics these two go through are dark and cold, and just darn crass. They are constantly trying to one-up each other in a cruel game of who can hurt more.

I always go into these co-written books knowing they are going to give me something dark and wrenching… and they did! I love a good, dark mafia book and this didn’t disappoint with the darkness and the scheming. I love it when these two authors write together! The books are superbly dark and flow just gorgeously. So why 4 stars and not 5? It was the two main characters… I was missing a connection with them, between them. Yeah, they had some heat but I didn’t feel any real connection. I enjoyed it and I’ll probably read the next one but I don’t feel a sense of longing over this book being over.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
