Briana Pacheco is a new author to me. I was intrigued with the cover and the teasers for Let Her Go. The cover itself is very pretty! The colors and font plus the woman… it’s a gorgeous cover that makes you wonder if the innards will be as beautiful as the outer layer. This was an incredibly emotional story! You’ll feel the roller coaster ride of emotions that Pacheco puts you through. You might shed a few tears out of anger and hurt but you’ll also laugh a bit. The laughter was definitely needed with such a deep story.

Pacheco is an author I’ll watch out for now. This book was good. I enjoyed the characters and wouldn’t mind seeing a few stories from some of these secondary characters. The flow was nice and even. I enjoyed the past tossed in here and there to give more weight to the story. I know, I know... I gave the book 4 stars... which isn't bad. I hate when people think 3 or 4 stars is bad! I just think there's room for improvement in the writing and some character development! I can not wait to see where the author goes from here! She's gonna bring us some fabulous stuff!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

RELEASE DAY: Miss Fix It by Emma Hart

BY Emma Hart

Release Day – Oct 31, 2017

One handywoman.

One single dad.

One set of twins.

And the wall isn’t the only thing being drilled…

I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn’t easy. The questions, the stares—the assumption I’m the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I’ve proven over and over that I’m ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me.

Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town.

Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids’ new rooms. His son is confused why ‘the pretty lady has a drill,’ and his daughter has a new obsession—me.

On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.

In theory, I’m spending eight hours a day with a guarded, sexy as hell guy, and I’m staying for dinner more often than I’m eating it alone, on my couch, with Friends re-runs.

I shouldn’t be staying for dinner. I shouldn’t be helping him out with the twins. I shouldn’t be falling in love with tiny toes and dimpled cheeks.

And I most definitely should not be kissing my client.

“I swear, messing with me is your new favorite hobby.”
“It is,” he admitted, eyes sparkling. “You’re so easy to mess with, I don’t even have to try.”
I rolled my eyes. “And to think—I let myself be guilt-tripped into this.”
“More fool you. I warned you about her, and you obviously didn’t listen.”
“That’s so not fair. I did listen, I just don’t have freaky skills to avoid the guilt like you do.”
“I don’t avoid the guilt. I pretend.”
“Would you have pretended if you were me, knowing you’d leave a poor guy to be lonely?”
He raised his eyebrows. “I wouldn’t have been lonely. I’d have watched TV with my pants off.”
“You don’t get to use my plans as an excuse,” I scoffed. “And unless your daughter is a master manipulator, you would have been lonely.”
“She’s four. All four-year-olds are master manipulators. If kids came with manuals, that would be the title of the chapter that talks about age four,” he said.
“There are technically manuals. They’re these wonderful, futuristic things called books.”
“None of which are geared toward a single dad,” he pointed out. “The last time I Googled something, I diagnosed Eli with a rare, deadly disease, learned that there are way too many styles of braid for any human being to master, and also found out how to get the kids out of the door by eight and have time to do my make-up.”
I paused. “I can see how that last one would be of use to you. Your mascara looks wonderful today.”

By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies—usually wine—and writes books.

Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.

She likes to be busy—unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

I LOVE Emma Hart’s stories! I love her characters! I love her words and how they make me laugh! I love how her words make my heart happy and feel! She has a real talent! So I know, if I see her name associated with a book that I am going to read it ASAP and I know I am going to love it! The degree of love changes a bit with every book… some I obsess over and can’t wait to either reread or hope and pray she comes out with another book that is connected to these people that I’ve fallen for already. I know, I shouldn’t be so partial to a particular author… but once you’ve read an Emma Hart book you will get it!! Prepare yourself, because Miss Fix It is a book that I NEED more from!! I’m thrilled to see an upcoming Miss Mechanic book in December! I have found that her RomCom books addict me the most… they are so funny… so swoony… so heart-warming… so darn hot and sexy that you will NOT be able to stop reading! I’m warning you all now!

Brantly didn’t stand a chance after he had one look at Kali! I mean, we have a woman who can fix anything! Talk about a total role reversal! I loved how passionate she was about working with her hands. She loves her job. No Brantly had his work cut out for him in getting Kali to fall for him! She loved his twins almost immediately… how could she not?! But Kali wasn’t in to dating her clients and she didn’t want children. Brantly had two strikes against him going in. He worked her over though!

Y’all have to read this one! It’s such an entertaining and engaging read! Emma Hart pulls you in with her perfect writing! She writes such a fun story! The banter the main characters had was so great! The sass Kali emits is so darn amusing! Her sassy, snarkiness is her tough exterior for that big soft heart she hides inside! This is one funny and sexy story that you don’t want to miss! #OneClick this bad boy now and enjoy a fun night of witty banter and sexy heat!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
