Review:
Wow...you need a helmet for this book!!! I was
so surprised through most of it that I thought I was going to get whiplash! As
a young mom married to a man that is ill...I worry about this type of
thing...my husband dying. Me having to live without him. Ugh...so I could totally
relate to Vivienne, I mean, how does one live and survive without their other
half?
What I like about this book is you see a very
(mostly) real struggle. There are some things that I just can’t see happening
but COULD happen. What I took out of this book was a love for family and that
they all come in different shapes and forms.
This book is not easy and the author took a hard
way. But I think it might be a real way for a lot of people. Orgeron touched on
some pretty serious topics like addiction and depression. This is a deep read
and so completely different...it isn’t what you think it will be. So for me, I
was left satisfied and a little shell-shocked!!
