Love finds you when you’re least expecting…

Kara has been stung by cocky, gorgeous men and learnt to avoid them at all costs.
She has a tight hold on the reigns of everything in her life, relationships and emotions included. Until Alex comes along.

He’s the embodiment of everything she hates in a man, yet he stirs up feelings stronger than she’s ever felt before and despite her best efforts, he’s breaching her defenses faster than she can build them.

What do you do when love finds you while you’re determined to lock your heart away?

Alex has perfected his act of a carefree, happy-go- lucky guy, but he’s carrying secrets and emotional wounds that are festering and his reason to keep his battered heart under lock and key. He has a ready supply of willing women to entertain him and can pick them up with very little effort on his part, until Kara.

Now he’s getting rejected at every turn by a stubborn woman he can’t get out of his head and will do anything to have in his bed.

Two people caught in the past and hell bent on living the rest of their lives without love.

One love that won’t be ignored.

One agreement they think will be easy, but is anything but.

KARA

I KNEW ALEX would be trouble for me the moment I laid eyes on him—before he even opened his mouth. It wasn’t the ink covering his arms and his bad boy demeanor, nor the fact that he was the embodiment of everything I hated in the male species. It was because he stirred something in me I’ve never felt before. Not even with Nate, the guy I had given everything I had until he tore my heart out.

I feel my blood heat as it rushes through my body, and my heart gives a weird lurch as my pelvic muscles clench. I casually lean against the counter so I can cross my legs to try to alleviate the tension between them. And that’s all before he turns his attention to me. Those jade green eyes lock onto mine, and I watch as they slowly lower to peruse my body before making their way back to meet my gaze. He smiles a grin I’ve seen too many times on too many handsome, cocky faces to count. It’s a grin that says he’s making plans to get to know my body a whole lot better, minus clothing, and that he’s assured I’ll love every second of it.

Too bad he doesn’t know that smirk and gleam in his eyes is an instant libido killer for me. I’ve been there, done that, got the shirt to prove it, and once is enough for me.

Unlike some girls, I learn from my mistakes.

First, I so wanted to read this book just on account of the title! I mean, how perfect is that title? Seriously, I can’t recall a single partner of mine that did not Drive Me Crazy! There was just so much about this book that was amazing!!

I’m not going to talk a ton… when that happens I ramble and rambling leads to spoilers… I will not spoil this book for you! I can tell you, if you are wondering if you should get this book or no… DO IT!!! It’s good… the writing is fun and enjoyable. I would say to start with the first book in the series though… Draw Me In. I’ve also read this book and you can check out my review here.

So… what did I like about this book? One of the biggest things that I enjoyed was that this book took place while Draw Me In was happening as well. I love all of this going on at once. Really, who waits around for your friend to get situated before you do your thing? No one, that’s who! So this book really works in conjunction with the first.

The other thing that just had me nearly interacting with Drive Me Crazy book and characters living in it is the amazing banter between the characters. I LOVED how playful Kara and Alex are. Kara also has fears that so many people face. Their self doubt and fears of their past hold them back. Kara’s an awesome character but I wanted to shake her for getting in her own way so much!

Alex broke my heart a bit with his fears. I think his fear makes a bit more sense or is more understandable. So many people have that fear of losing their loved one. How does a person get over that? Ash Hosking’s takes you on an incredible journey. Her writing is completely perfect and extremely relatable! If you don’t read Draw Me In and Drive Me Crazy you ARE missing out!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

 Published October 4, 2016

by Long Shot Publishing

SYNOPSIS:

When New Jersey-based sports radio producer Carla D'Agostino receives a save-the-date for her ten-year high school reunion, she is thrown into a tailspin. She is miserably single, living at home with her old-school Italian-American family, and miles away from her dream job as a sports talk radio host. She voices her discontent to her closest friends, the stunning Andrea, cheerful Katie, and playboy Dante, and they encourage Carla to stand up and fight for the life she wants. Inspired by their words, Carla sets her plans in motion. She enlists the help of a personal trainer, tapes a sports commentary demo with Dante for her unconventional WSPS boss Dan, and gets back into the dating game for the first time since her heart was broken by her first love. But the universe has different ideas for Carla than she has for herself, and she suffers setback after setback: Dan gives the afternoon host position to a Los Angeles import, and, worse yet, offers Dante a gig, which he accepts, much to Carla s hurt and dismay. More determined than ever, Carla continues to throw herself at life with gusto, and a series of surprises, both good and bad, lead her straight into the arms of a love that never really left.

 MY REVIEW

Ten Years Later is a story like no other book I have read. It’s an extremely relatable book. Once I got into this book it was hard to put it down. I’m not quite sure why I haven’t seen this book everywhere! I mean this is every woman, a woman that most will feel a strong connection to and the events that she went through.

This is a book that I’m sure to reread and would LOVE a signed paperback!! I recall feeling a lot of the same things that Carla discussed most of my life, not just for the 10 year reunion… that I may have just skipped!! It’s so hard to be a person today, in the social media world. Everything is out there for everyone to see and share. Everyone has perfect lives and it’s hard to share when we feel ours doesn’t meet with social expectations. Like I said, Carla is relatable!

I really felt like Carla was a just regular person, just striving to do more, do better and what better motivation that impressing your previous friends? Carla was such a down-to-earth woman. I really liked that she wasn’t this perfect character and it was great to see her grow and become more assertive throughout the book. The groups of friends, characters in this book were a great addition and I loved their interactions together. It was so great to see friends bloom and blossom over the years and watch them continue to be friends through all of lives changes and their differences.

Ten Years Later made me laugh out loud and smile throughout. It was such a light and fun book. I had no problem getting through this book besides normal life and other book responsibilities getting in my way. I wish I had been able to devote more time to really reading it more one-on-one. I hate reading multiple books at a time, but the last few months it has been like that. I guess there’s been a TON of new releases lately! Anywho… this is a book that belongs on your shelf… totally signed, of course!! While this isn’t a big deal, but I like to mention everything, the cover just doesn’t seem to reflect the book, to me anyway. The cover doesn’t affect my star rating though since it really doesn’t affect the content of the book.

I received an ecopy in exchange for an honest review.
