For every action, there’s a reaction.
Or in my case, a consequence.
One night.
One party.
One girl.
One time.
One unforeseen tragedy.
Two shattered hearts.
Two lives changed forever.

Standalone in a series.

I was so happy to see this lovely book on my kindle. I feel like I’ve been waiting on Cole and Harper’s story for a so very long time! Walking into Mackenzie was like walking into Thanksgiving dinner with your friends and family. You feel all at home and like you know everyone. You know it’s going to be fun, warm and inviting but you know your friends, your family, and while you’re happy to see everyone, you know it’s gonna get messy! I think you know, looking at this cover that there has been a secret between friends and lovers.  I was shocked and just didn’t see it coming.

MA Foster knocked me off my feet and strait on my booty. Her writing and storytelling has gotten even better since Jaybird. She creates relationships like no one else. Yes, just like Jaybird, we have a full cast and crew, but if you’ve read Jaybird, and you better have read Jaybird if you’re reading Mackenzie. However, I don’t see a big group of friends and family members as a down side, I see it as a TON more upcoming books. Plus, every time we get a new book we get to visit with our previous friends. My favorite think about Cole and Harper’s story was that they worked at it. They were real people. They didn’t just tumble back together. I appreciate the realness of this and it was one of my tope favorite things! That’s pretty much all you get from me… this book is a real treat and every reader deserves to experience this book for themselves.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

M.A Foster was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and is currently suffering from empty nest syndrome in Land O’Lakes, Florida with her husband and her crazy dog, Rocky. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s searching for chocolate.
