Death by C.M. Radcliff is now live!!
Release Day: July 25th, 2019
Synopsis
Surrounded by violence and hatred, I was born with a target on my back.
The monsters sought after me, slowly tainting my soul.
A person can only withstand so much before they snap.
I’m a grenade and they pulled the pin.
Tick, tock; the clock’s running out.
We all come into this world, sentenced to death.
And when he calls, we have to answer.
As for me, I’ll be making the calls.
I am Death.

Wow, I finished this last night and I still don't know what
to really say. I found myself sympathizing with a person that I never expected
to feel for. I'm not sure if anyone can read this book and not feel for Curtis.
If you aren't left with an aching heart, well you are stronger than I.
I have never felt like two wrongs make or right. I can't even make myself say "but" here even though I do feel it. Curtis's response to the bullying by every single person in his life is incomprehensible. The abuse Curtis lived through is inexcusable. As a society, we need to fix the way we treat each other.
CM Radcliff wrote a story that is so timely that is hurts. Who knew life would come to this. That people could be so cruel, so callous. Radcliff has written a story so moving that it makes me almost understand. I mean, how much can one person take before they break? It has to be even less for a teenager.
Caution: This is not a romance. There is no happy ending.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
