I found myself really liking Miranda, mainly just because she knew what she wanted but swept it to the side for what she felt she had to do. Sure, she broke hearts… including Austin’s. But for every bad choice, there’s a reason. Ms. Walls really gave us an enchanting story here… with second chances and all.

This cover is sexy AF. The woman’s face is just darn gorgeous and whoooo…. that man… he is smoking’!! What’s even better is it isn’t just on the outside. The inside of Negotiated is just as sexy… just as hot! I mean, Scarlett is fantastic! I’m not sure if it’s because I just finished an audiobook about a girl that was a serious doormat or what but Scarlett was strong and fierce. She was take no prisoner and I NEEDED her to be that. I just loved that attitude that she excluded… thank you!!! I love seeing strong women that aren’t ashamed to be themselves.
 

Anyway, Hudson was also seriously dominant! He was a total alpha but didn’t quite cross too far over into that jerk area and I, oh so very appreciate that! Scarlett has met her match in strength in Hudson… I mean what a battle they were.  Negotiated felt a bit more rounded than the other books in this series. I felt the friendships more and really loved that. You can feel and see them leaning on each other.

We all know those authors who when you pick up their books you know it’s going to be fantastic! Kim Karr is one of those authors for me. Then, when I saw this cover *BOOM* I just knew… it was going to be amazing! Karr’s writing has this groove and flow to it where it almost reads itself to you. She’s so descriptive and her characters seem so full of life. Plus, when she turns of the heat in the bedroom, it’s more than HAWT!!! In Come a Little Closer, Karr ends up taking us for a ride that I didn’t see coming. It was full of twists and turns and things I didn’t see coming!

I normally swoon all over the males… I mean, we are females reading about all these “perfect” male characters. But Sadie is amazing! I’d totally date her! Lol Now, don’t get me wrong… there were times that I wasn’t impressed with her but her character development was so good and she just pulled so much emotion from me. There were a few times I was yelling at her. If only she’d had listened she could have saved herself some heartache. Jaxon is fantastic and so steamy hot. Kim Karr created an incredibly addictive book here with Come a Little Closer. I couldn’t stop reading… it didn’t matter if my family needed food or if I had to go to work. CALC was continuously calling my name!
