Title: Gravel Road
Author: Stephie Walls
Genre: Coming-of-Age Romance
Release Date: September 25, 2018
I fell in love with Austin before I even knew what the word meant.
Miranda was the only girl who ever had a chance at owning my heart.
Defined by the land we grew up on—ranches, pastures, lakes—Mason Belle, Texas, wrote our story. And then it tore out the pages.
Six years later, Miranda had managed to slip away again. But this time, I refused to let her run.
There’s nothing like a good
second chance romance and Stephie Walls brings us a one of a kind story with a
small town, family secrets, love and redemption. Walls gives us a story that’ll
play with your emotions. I love that Gravel Roads shows us what can happen in
life when one bad choice changes everything. Austin and Miranda have a tremulant
past. One walked away. They’ve both always loved the other. Can love be enough
when there’s a trail of broken hearts behind one of them?
Ms. Walls wrote an amazing story and made me
really think about if what’s always been acceptable for men… is acceptable for
women? I found myself really liking Miranda, mainly just because she knew what
she wanted but swept it to the side for what she felt she had to do. Sure, she
broke hearts… including Austin’s. But for every bad choice, there’s a reason.
Ms. Walls really gave us an enchanting story here… with second chances and all.
I
received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased
Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my
opinions are just that... my opinions.
Bestselling author, Stephie Walls has lived all over the country but has made Greenville, South Carolina her home for the last 25 years. She has a serious addiction to anything Coach and would live on Starbucks if she could get away with it. If you follow her on Facebook, you'll also find that she's slightly enamored with Charlie Hunnam, Instagram ads, and Google Doodles.
Stephie is an avid reader (literary whore to be more precise) averaging around 300 novels a year. She has a penchant for great love stories, sensual poetry, and is a romantic at heart. Her love affair with real-life romance spurred her own drive to create contemporary fiction and pursue her dream.
