I can't be the only woman around that has often thought about the men living out in the Alaskan tundra, am I? I refuse to believe I am. There has to be dozens of single women (or hundreds) that dream of those gruff and strong men are coming to scoop them off their feet! But the more I think of Alaska, the more I think of a colder, harsher Vermont (where I live). I might pass especially if i don't have running water or an inside toilet! Lol Anyways, enough of my generalizations and outlandish ideas!  

Single in Sitka is one of those make you smile with happiness romances that make bring a few happy tears to your eyes! So we have the widower, Luke, who had been pushed into a date by his meddlesome sister. Luke is an amazing hero plus a cop!! I mean how much dreamier can Katy Regnery get here? Oh wait... let's add his daddy and is still mending that heart of his. Yeah... ding, ding, ding! He rings my bell!! In walks Amanda... they have fabulous chemistry together and just really hit it off.  

While so much of this story is a pleasurable visit in fiction-land, I loved that Miss Regnery can make something feel and seem relatable even when it doesn't seem incredibly feasible! Luke really shows us single parenthood after a spouse's death. Add in just trying to date and life gets harder. So let's fall in love with someone that lives 800 miles away. See... these are real struggles that people live with. I really enjoyed the execution of the story and the situation. The characters were fantastic!! I'm really thrilled to be getting an entire Alaskan series from the sweet with heat romance author!
