Bro Code by Kendall Ryan
Release Date: May 1st
Standalone
From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother's best friend.
There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.
Don’t be a douche.
Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.
Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me.
She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.
Falling for her could ruin everything.
Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning.
I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.
I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

Bro Code is the situation all girls with older brothers always dream of... well if they have a friend like Barrett, that is. I had older brothers and crushed on an occasional friend here or there. Barrett is just too adorable! Hearing his inner dialogue was so fun... and at times frustrating to watch him struggle with feelings/attraction and the bro code. Ava wasn’t any real help as she just wanted to have fun and focus on her father’s business. Watching the family dynamics was a hoot too! Especially with Ava and Barrett’s sexual tension tossed in!
I really enjoyed the bit of conflict. I really love a good forbidden-type relationship or off-limits with the older brother besties thing... I can relate having 2 older brothers just 4 and 2 years older. It was the perfect age gap to make it all interesting! Ha! My only complaint and really it isn’t a complaint, I just got tired of it a bit. I get that the book is called Bro Code so obviously we’re hung up on that code. But there were a few times it was a bit too much. There were times I wanted Barrett to get lost and forget himself.
Perfect combination of sweet with heat, heart and humor. Ms. Ryan constantly strattles the line of deep feelings with this lighter and fun storyline. Kendall Ryan continues to write her books with such great finesse. I get pulled into her stories within pages and generally come up for hour hours later. Her writing and flow continue to captivate my interest from the start and she totally keeps me reading in a tranced state, usually til I’ve read the entire book in one setting.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
