I was so excited to listen to this series on audio! I
struggle looking for what I want a lot with audio books. However, these books
are perfectly what I’m looking for. I like my romances to be packed with
suspense and mystery. I want intrigue and complete sexiness. I’m a hard person
to please because I don’t just want a romance; I want a pulse-pounding
situation with people who are sexy, smart, and interesting. I need the full
package in audio books. Finding this series was like hitting the audio jackpot
for me! I had 9 audio books to listen too… over 80 hours of listening magic!
Mac and Tess are perfect heroes. I love how complex they
both are. They were completely electric together! Mac opens Tess up to a real
life and some steamy, hot sexy times! Toni Anderson gave us an up-close look at
police investigation. It’s interesting to see it with all the technology we
have today. It really seems like Anderson does some very thorough research for
her books. They are timely and mesh well in our current society. Cold Malice, book
8, was packed with suspense and thrilling action, all with that romance I love.
Narrator, Eric Dove is a superb narrator! His voice is like
silk, yet it’s strong and resonating. I loved how clear and concise he spoke. I
couldn’t believe the emotion that man can put into his voice… you could feel
the passion in Anderson’s words through Dove’s voice. I have to say that I was
worried in the earlier books. I don’t normally care for books with dual POVs
only having one narrator. It’s hard to do all those voices and put feelings
into the words through different people. Dove has a real skill.
