I’ve been trying to write this review for days now. I just
don’t know how I am supposed to write something half intelligent about this
book. It’s a completely wild and so unique that it should have its own genre.
Amo Jones’s writing is at her best. The characters she unleashes in, In Peace
Lies Havoc are completely magnetic! It’s unbelievable that I can fall for such
dark character but Miss Jones; she could make me fall for the darkest, cruelest
person. It’s in the way she creates her characters and the way her story flows
together. Kingston and Dove, the main characters, are just remarkable.
In Peace Lies Havoc is a messed and twisted story that I can’t
even attempt really critiquing for other readers. This story was so thick with
sexual tension and lust that it caused a few heat strokes for myself! I want to
end this review talking about Jones’ use or words, her imagery. Jones brings
this world, the Midnight Mayhem world to life with words alone. It was like her
letters were color; the words gave movement to her letters. It was like a
painting coming into focus right before my eyes. Never, seriously N-E-V-E-R
have I ever seen a story so vividly in my mind. This is beyond a talent. This
is what Amo Jones should always be doing.
