I’m sure like most readers that adore Giana Darling’s writing, I feel like I’ve been waiting on the conclusion of the Enslaved duet for years! It hasn’t been years but, it has been months. Yes, months longer that it was “suppose” to be. However, I say… we all have lives. Sometimes they feel as if they are in upheaval and we need time. As a reader who expects the best from where I spend my fantasies… I’m happy that Miss Darling took her time and spent it on herself. I’m not sure the story would have been this INSANE without that time she obviously needed. I’ll be honest; I did have to skim through Enthralled because I was having some issues remembering everything.

Enamoured was a fantastic story! It wasn’t quite as dark and as devious as I was expecting especially when compared to Enthralled but I didn’t feel disappointed exactly. It was still a good story! Darling is a lovely kinky writer that pushes your limits! I loved Alexander, so much! He’s such a jerk and such an alpha. He’s not quite as vicious as he was in Enthralled and I’m personally thankful for that. I need my men so have some redeeming characteristics. Now, Cosima, I wasn’t too keen on. She is strong and when she loves, she will do anything for those people. But I feel like she goes a bit too far. She just didn’t ring exactly true to me.
