Book Description
“A kiss was all I needed.”
“Looks like you got what you wished for.”
“Yes. About that…”
I
was supposed to find a finely dressed businessman, have a one-night
stand and forget about my failed relationship. Instead, I meet Tanner
Sexton—a gorgeous man in street clothes, messy hair and the sexiest
smile I’ve ever seen.
When
my ex shows up at the bar, Tanner notices my panic and kisses me just
so the prick can see. Then he takes off, leaving me breathless.
So,
I do what any rational person would. I chase after him onto the subway,
and embark on a wild night in New York City with a complete stranger.
No
matter how much I fight it, this mysterious artist painted his soul
onto my skin, and I haven’t been able to forget him. Our romance is one
for the ages, but age isn’t the only thing standing in our way.
Tanner was so fun! He was probably the funniest of the
three. He was so sweet and a total knight in shining armor on the night Harper
really needed one. A well-timed fake kiss knocks them both off their axis. Who
knew a stranger’s lips could make feel it all in your toes?! I really enjoyed
these two together all while exploring and learning New York through the
other’s eyes.
I’ve never read these authors separately so I can’t speak about their individual writing but they flow so flawlessly together. I’m really not sure where Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette begin and end. I just love when an author finds their writing partner and they hit a stride together. I’ve read the other two books and I really like how some parts of the story have been carried through all three books. It gives a feel of consistency and keeps me wanting more but I still feel like each story has had an ending.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
