My name is
Molly Brinks, but most people know me as Vivienne Foxx, bestselling author of
chance meetings, stolen glances, and the much-needed happily ever after. My
addictions include coffee, home improvement television, and the occasional pint
of ice cream. The love of my life is an eighty-pound labrador retriever named
Pee Wee. At the age of twenty-nine-plus-one, I am at the top of my
game…professionally. My personal life is a completely different story, one best
left untold. Success has its sacrifices and I’ve been more than happy to put my
search for Prince Charming on the back burner while I create fictitious tales
of the naïve virgin, the broken girl with a torrid past, and the strong-willed
student finding their own Mr. Right… Until one hell of a case of writer’s block
and a tight deadline set by my publisher forces me outside my cozy downtown
Boston apartment in search of inspiration.

Armed with
an account on every dating website out there, I devise a plan. Meet some nice,
professional men. Go on a few dates. Hope one of them has the spark I need to
finish my book. Then walk away.

But plans
are meant to be broken.

My name is
Molly Brinks, and this is my story about Writing Mr. Right.

Oh my word… if you enjoy Romantic Comedies I can NOT recommend Writing for Mr. Write more! I’d tell you to run, not walk, to your nearest Kindle, iPad, Nook, or whatever reading device you use and buy this book as quickly as you can! This was super smutty, a bit raunchy, with some just “good time” humor tossed in for good measure! I’m not sure the last time I laughed so hard through a book… ok, ok… I enjoy a good RomCom and Boomerangersby Heather M. Orgeron made me laugh out loud quite a bit too!

One of my favorite quotes from this book was:

“It was all the same. Girl meets boy. Girl has no interest in boy. Boy is sexy, perhaps a bit of a player. Girl lands on boy’s dick and miraculously falls in love with boy. Boy says he doesn’t do romance, but something about girl, perhaps her gold-plated vagina, makes him change his player ways. Then they live happily ever after and fuck like bunnies well into their eighties.”

I’m not going to dive into the synopsis since you can read as well! I can say that TK Leigh can write a darn book! She completely surpasses genre restrictions and just writes everything and I LOVE THAT!! Seriously, this is just a journey that is filled with so much laughter and eventually love that you can’t help but get absorbed into the world Leigh lays out for us. I adore Molly’s naughty mouth and her thoughts on “Real love isn’t real life!” How can you not love a book with that motto? But this is so much more that humor, there is family, love, and loss… there’s so much more covered in this book.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
