Three Rivers are two words Chase never wants to hear again. It holds far too many painful memories of the life he had. But when Chase has to take an unexpected trip back to the small town, he is forced to deal with parts of his past he thought he had buried forever.
Pulled into the buzz around town about the boy who ran away all those years ago, Katheryn’s heart skips a beat when she is literally knocked off her feet by Chase. He’s scruffy, sexy, and covered in tattoos that scream bad boy, with an attitude to match. Although he appeared to have forgotten about their brief encounter, she never could. For when he left all those years ago, he left with a piece of her heart.
As they fall in love, Katheryn is slowly sucked into his world of corruption, family secrets, and lies. Forcing Chase to choose between Katheryn and the life he fought so hard to achieve.
After all, isn’t everything fair in love and war?

Chase is just the best hero! I totally feel for him. He’s had such a crappy upbringing with his parents. I love his bad boy vibe but that he isn’t the popular one. He isn’t the guy that everyone likes and wants to be which is a HUGE difference from most books. Books are normally about Mr. Wonderful… the quarterback and head cheerleader type of thing. With Recklessly Mine, you should expect the unexpected!
I love seeing small town living through the characters eyes. Kat is such a sweet, southern girl. The bonfire on the farm just brings me back! Kat is a fantastic main character. She’s honest and loyal, yet, she is just a country girl so she can have fun with the rest of them. She’s innocent but still naughty. She has dreams and really tries to achieve them. Instead of crying and saying she can’t do something, she ponders ways around that. I just think that’s a really admirable trait in a person.
Kat and Chase have some pretty intense chemistry. They meet pretty much right when Kat needs him the most. I can see Chase as a bit of a hero due to this. They might only know each other for a short amount of time but sometimes that is all you need. Their scenes were hot and strong! I just loved how sweet Chase is. After he knows what he wants, he goes for it! He’s relentless.
Recklessly Mine seriously shocked me! I got to that ending and did a double take! I did NOT see that coming! It was so much more suspenseful than I was thinking! I love a good romantic suspense!
I am a beta reader for Emily Bowie. Even though I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions. I would never give a false or inaccurate account of a book. These are my thoughts!
