Yay! I always get thrilled when
I see a new Katie McCoy book but especially when it’s a new book in the Rascal
series! I love friends to lover books… perhaps even more than I love single
parent books… and I love single parent books HARD! What makes this Rascal
series so fabulous isn’t just the couple we’re reading about, but they are awesome,
what makes this series fabulous is everyone. This entire group of friends. I
love them. I love how they care for each other and seriously give it to each
other seriously straight. It’s what we all want in friends. OK, ok, I know… I’m
gushing but I could totally hang with these people! I love them!
Gabi and Sawyer have been
friends since college. Gabi’s been totally crushing on Sawyer hard… since their
first chat, she just knew she was a goner. The feelings are not returned… or
are they?? Gabi decides to leave and takes a break for half a decade and when
she returns, she’s bound and determined to stay far far away from Sawyer. But
Sawyer has other ideas. This story just flows! McCoy added a bit more
sweetness, a bit more angst to this story. I loved it!
