These books were just absolutely killer (haha!!). This concluding book was perfection. "Paint It All Red" had everything I would would want in an ending from a 5-part series. This series was so hard to put down and I often found myself putting other books down when one of these came out. Then I'd gorge myself on it and finish it, usually at 4 am, within hours. 

 

I think what I enjoyed most about these books is that you found yourself questioning what you would do in this situation. Could you bend your morals and beliefs in this situation... HELL yeah you can!!! S.T. Abby made it seem like there was no other way than the way Lana went. I believed it... Hell, I wanted to kick ass with her!!

 

Lana and Logan were just perfection! Every relationship in this book was excellent. Jake and Lana have such a beautiful relationship. I adored this ending. Everything about it could not have been better!! Jake... is just fantastic with what he does in his down time! I think the second book I commented on Hadley being a problem... well that made me laugh out loud during this book. 

 

I'm sad to see this is over. I'd love to see some type of movie or tv series made from this. Every book was so good. There were so many things that you just didn't get until they told you. And wow, this book ends with a HUGE surprise to me! Lana and Jake, Jake especially, are way more sinister than I expected.

This whole series is worth a 5 Star Rating in my mind! This book would have been a 6 Star Rating if that's possible!! Loved it!!!

MY REVIEW

I wish there was a way to explain this book without spoiling it. Everyone NEEDS to read it but... it may not be everyone's cup of tea but it's just such a great book that makes you question everything! I've always felt like I've had a questionable moral compass and believe in an eye for an eye a lot of the times but this books makes you want vengeance! You want to go fight for the ones that have no voice, the once who have been silenced for years. 

ST Abby's writing is complete perfection. Her descriptions give you chills. I'm seriously surprised to see that she normally writes romcom because these books (or the 4 that I have read so far) are perfectly creepy. Every book I have ended has put me firmer in Lana's corner. I have no idea where this storyline is going but I can't wait to follow ST around! These books should ensure a cult following!!!

I've had tunnel vision for one main goal for so long, that I forgot there was a whole other world just outside. Until Lana.

She's everything I never expected, and I love the fact I can never guess her every move or reaction. It's part of the reason I keep falling. But I also know she shuts me out, hides things from me she feels she can't share.

One day, I hope she trusts me enough to share.

It isn't until my job puts her at risk that I realize just how fierce she is, but it doesn't stop me from doing all I can to protect her. I should walk away to protect her better, but I can't. Instead, I'm forced to find other ways to keep her safe.

I just hope it's enough.

You know what I reserve 5 star ratings for? A 5 star rating is for those books you can NOT put down, the books that sucks you in every waking moment until it's over and you're not emotionally ready for it to be over. A 5 star rating, to me, is perfection. Where every single aspect in this written word is perfect, there's nothing that left me wanting or lacking. Sidetracked and The Risk, book 1, are books you are going to recommend to everyone that reads. These are books you are going to reread and get more from them. I like to reserve a 5 star rating for books that knock me on my ass, like this book has done. I didn't see it coming a mile away. So know that I don't hand 5 star rating out like candy at Halloween, 4 star ratings are for great books, but a 5 star, well it's special. It means you MUST drop what you're doing and read this book now! Pause whatever book you are into, don't wait another second to start this book!

As with The Risk, we learn about Lana and Logan who are falling in love quickly. They seem to work good together, I’m hoping to see great team work out of them later. Sidetracked ended with a killer (hahahaha) cliffy… just like The Risk did. I saw this one coming as soon as the music started. I see Hadley being a problem and I’m curious how this is going to play out! Hell, this whole series… I can’t even imagine and can not wait for book 3!!!

MY REVIEW

This book… well it isn't for the timid. There's some serious messed up stuff happening in this book. I like the love story, the vengeful girlfriend meets FBI profiler. If you can't take gore or violence, walk away... now. It doesn't bother me, I'm totally an eye for an eye type of girl. I have a feeling these boys deserve every bit of pain they're receiving.

The writing is perfect and creepy. I love to see Lana getting what she deserves but love the irony in it as well. There was a part... we'll say Lana was caught red-headed and I literally gasped! This book is just amazing! Read it... it'll consume you!!
