Let me just say, since Broken Little Melodies I’ve been stalking this author HARD! Not only are her covers absolutely beautiful… and I NEED them on my shelf, but the innards are just as gorgeous! Jennifer Ann gives us characters that we can understand, people that we can relate too and route for! I love books that really tell a story and this one, just like the title implies, hid so many secrets between families. I felt like I was in constant surprise but it wasn’t overdone… it was believable and just plan fascinating! This is a perfect rainy day read; you’ll get sucked in and be finished before you realize that the day is over!

Do you ever think about what it would be like to see an old flame nearly a decade after the fact? Not only that, but imagine said flame still has a slight torch glowing and their secrets up in that room! That is what we get with Cameron and Lincoln. Heck, just knowing the ex is a Navy Seal makes me all nervous-giddy for Cameron! Jennifer Ann perfectly wove some intrigue and mystery into her story with a bit of danger tossed in! Never fear though when you have a seal on tap!! My heart was racing by the end of Ann’s words! She did great work with this book! The pace, the story line, the people were just so perfectly on point!

The only good thing that comes from finding an amazingly, kick ass author after they have a few books under their belt is the fact that you get to immerse yourself into their previous books. You know, just gobble the damn backlog until you’re pacing the floor waiting for more… tap, tap, tap… (that’s me waiting if you couldn’t tell). So, I’m actually not a huge fan of paranormal books, however, I LOVE this series so far! It is packed with all the paranormal favorites like witches and werewolves, demons and humans, vampires and vampire slayers… I mean, it is jam-packed, and I LOVE it! So even if you don’t normally swing for the paranormal, give this a try, I think you’ll find it’s amazing!

Anne Malcom tells one kick butt story! She has an amazing way to tell a story. Isla is seriously KICK ASS! She’s so funny! The character development in this book was a perfect complement to book 1; Malcom built onto her characters. I’m utterly fascinated with all these “people”. This story really comes into itself in this book. There is just so much happening and so many plot twists you didn’t see coming. This is a completely addictive read, one that will have you tap, tap, tapping your shoes waiting for more! Hurry up Anne! I need book 3 yesterday!

I can’t recall now how I stumbled upon this author but, by God, I am completely happy with it!! Finding Home and Finding Strength are both amazing books!! There was nothing in this book that left me wanting. I was looking forward to Finding Strength that it felt like forever! It did not disappoint me one bit!!

This book starts off right where Finding Home leaves off and I was so very happy at the change of POV. I so wanted inside Cory’s head in the last book… needed it! So to get there this time, well it made this book utterly perfect!! I love Lacey and Cory! You could feel Cory’s love in this book and how Lacey just wouldn’t give up. They both had to dig down deep to find their strength. The secondary characters… Amber and Alex are great! I am pleading that we get an Alex and Amber book(s) just more of this group!!

Even if Reagan Hollow is completely done here and wants to move on… you can bet your last dollar that I’ll follow her! I loved her writing. She has this perfect balance of suspense that makes you unable to put her book down. You’ll look at the clock and wonder how it’s 3am when you just stared reading. Hollow does that to you! She combines the suspense that keeps you reading “just one more page” and the deep emotion so it’s just not possible to read a little at a time.

Remember, this is a duet. You have to read Finding Home to understand this book. It just won’t work without book one. It’s worth it though.
