When Willis Langford, the infamous serial killer, dubbed The Hollywell slayer, enters Lizzy West’s life, he leaves blood and pain in his wake. Kidnapping his son, her best friend Jack, and killing those who try to stop him.

I went into Lost Boy completely
blind. Besides knowing it was written by the talented Ker Dukey. I was not
disappointed! Ker Dukey probably wrote my favorite book of the month with Lost
Boy! The story was plan crazy! I loved the darkness, the mystery. I was
pleasantly surprised by the romance level as well. The characters are so well
developed. Lizzie, of course, is seen as the main character that is still
struggling with a traumatized past. However, I’ll toss out that Charlotte and Steven
were the best! It's always nice to have some comedic relief and Charlotte was
it for me!!
Lost Boy is one of those stories where I found myself picking
through debris to figure out what was what. Dukey's writing is at her best
here. Lost Boy is written in a way that will make readers try to dissect it. I
found myself constantly rearranging the clues, or what I thought were clues, to
get various outcomes and try and solve the case. I was never able to
place the clues in the correct order and get a clear picture... I'm not
surprised though.
I
received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased
Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my
opinions are just that... my opinions.
