SOUTHERN STORM
By Natasha Madison
Release Date: May 19
Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.
Savannah
I’m the one who broke up the golden couple. The woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to.
Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town's golden boy on vacation from college? Yes.
Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly.
Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me and then his father threw two hundred dollars at me and told me to take the trash out.
So, I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff.
It was going great, everything was working out till my lie got out.
Beau
I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.
Until I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
My brother has a son, not just any son but a son with the woman who was my best friend.
The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.
I need to protect her and in order to do that, we need to get married.
Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.
Here I was so sure that I wouldn’t be able to like or even
care what happened with Samantha. Really, I should know by now that if Natasha
Madison wants to dislike or to like a character she’s going to make me. One way
or another, it’ll happen. You have to read the first two books in this series
before starting Southern Storm. Otherwise you’ll not get the real feel for the
way Madison puts the entire story together. You’re going to want to get to know
all the characters the way Madison intended. So book one, I obviously despised
her. Book 2, my feelings didn’t change much. However, in this book, I ended up
feeling way more for her than I thought possible. I ended up being shocked that
I was thoroughly impressed by her. I respected her and I just didn’t know what
to do with that feeling after such a strong dislike. So read all three books
and follow along with the ups and downs of Natasha Madison!
While my thoughts for Savannah might have been confusing. I
was crazy about Beau. In the end, I felt like they might have been perfect for
each other. This book really captures the way people grow and evolve into the
person they should be. This is a story about second chances, about growing into
yourself. It’s a story about finding strength in yourself and standing on your
own two legs while being strong enough to lean on those around you. There are
several valuable lessons in here if you read with your heart open.
I
received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased
Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my
opinions are just that... my opinions.
When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals.
You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips.
