I love a good book that makes me sink right into its world and forget mine for a little bit. I’m not big into dancing… besides the weird dance I do with my 9 year old but believe me, that doesn’t count as dancing… it’s like some weird stroke like performance that takes over my body and tries to vibe with music. So I was wondering if I’d really connect with these characters, with this situation. I did, oh boy… did I connect and fall for them! They felt like real life people… real people that I would like! Theo and Lex were just amazing characters that were beautiful together. They weren’t just connected while dancing, oh no, Theo and Lex were attached at a whole-nother level.

KK Allen’s writing was perfection. So unique. I love how determined and passionate the characters are. Ms. Allen made the story fun and frustrating… I spent so much time upset with Theo. So much time supporting and rooting for Lex. I realized I was totally and fully invested in this story. It was uplifting and I really appreciate the thoughts that Ms. Allen provoked in me. I loved the way Ms. Allen was able to make me feel so many various feelings… I loved the hope and the passion I felt through the characters. It’s refreshing to feel people love something so much… to love their passion. The Center of Gravity really runs a gamut of emotions giving you a full range of thoughts for the people that you grow so attached to. Allen was very creative, gripping in her storytelling.
