Pepper Winters wears many roles. Some of them include writer, reader, sometimes wife. She loves dark, taboo stories that twist with your head. The more tortured the hero, the better, and she constantly thinks up ways to break and fix her characters. Oh, and sex... her books have sex.

MY REVIEW 

First off... if you are faint of heart or have problems with human trafficking stop... and put this book down and walk away. This is a book for the real world and if you think yours doesn't include human trafficking you are living in a sheltered world and this book will change your reality. But if you're wearing your big girl panties and can handle a little bit of unease, this book is about finding yourself after everything has been ripped from you and taken savagely from you. 

So this is a really difficult book to rate, it's like you are either going to love it or hate it. It takes some sensitive topics and explores the depths of people. How we cope, how we think, how we feel. These has been books that just suck you in and you can't come up until you find out what is going to happen next. Will Pim find her voice? And I mean that so much more than just physically having her speak.

This is book 2 in a 5 book series!! And I can't wait for the next ones... like I seriously Can.Not.Wait!! Write Winters, write!!!
