Author Bio

You can find Gen curled up reading paranormal romance and romantic thrillers or frantically typing her stories on her laptop.

Forensic psychology is her trade by day, teaching and molding the minds of college students. Her interest in psychology can be seen in her books, each including many psychological undertones. Although she loves teaching, her passion, her true love, lies in the stories that roam around in her head. Yes, they all come from her mind--the good, the bad, and the totally insane.

Gen Ryan is an international best-selling author in multiple subgenres within romance. She lives in Massachusetts--no, not Boston--with her husband, daughter, and American Eskimo dog named Chewbacca. With each story she shares, she hopes her love for writing and storytelling seeps through, encompassing the reader and leaving them wanting more.

Oh man, if anyone deserves a good, strong man… it is Melanie! She just has no luck with men! I mean her ex is now her best friend that turned out being gay! Can you imagine that? Mel is wonderful and agrees to surrogate for her ex/best friend and his hubby. Through this situation, she meets Ashe, her new gynecologist.

Ashe is completely amazing! Their chemistry and the connection between them was off the charts! They were so funny, and so sweet. I struggled with infertility and I know it’s a horribly heartbreaking situation. This reminded me somewhat of that… it can be a touching, a sad situation. For all the touching part, it was also so incredibly funny!

Gen Ryan wrote such a sweet romance. I adored it! Ashe will totally make ya swoon! Mel is someone that you’ll seriously be able to relate to. She’s sweet but has this honesty about her that you can’t help but like! Plus she’s so darn funny! I’d have love to be Mel’s bestie! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys a sweet romance with little angst, lots of humor and heart.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
