I feel so conflicted! Never… like EVER have I had an author
confuse my heart so much! This duet has left me reeling. I really felt a
certain way after The Upside of Falling and I was so floored when I cracked
open The Downside of Love and found myself starting to understand… starting to
give. I struggled with letting go of what I wanted from The Upside of Falling.
I stubbornly held onto what I felt should have happened. I’m just so conflicted
over these turn of events! I have to say that I feel like I have to have
another book… a spin off or something… I need what was hinted at the end.
So yeah, I’m being totally vague and confusing for people who
haven’t read this book or duet. Anything and everything I say is a spoiler and
I don’t want to do that to you, you all deserve to go through all o f this on
your own without me bursting a bubble before it’s fully executed. Meghan Quinn
has been one of my favorite authors. Her writing is upbeat and fun, yet she’s
creative and descriptive. I read Ms. Quinn’s books like the devil is on my
heels. I can’t get enough and soon, they’re over and I’m left wanting more.
I really, REALLY hope Meghan Quinn reads this because I LOVE
and HATE her so much right now! This duet was beyond anything I ever expected!
I’m so happy to have read it and so pissed off I did at the same time. Ms.
Quinn was able to make me root for everyone… I wanted everyone to have their
cake and to eat it too, you know? I feel like stomping my feet in anger and
patting Meghan Quinn on her back at the same time… I’ve never been so torn, so
wrecked over books before… I’m really not even kidding. This duet wrecked me. I
ended it crying… literally, I had tears running down my face. I think this is
what every author should strive for. I can’t stop thinking about these books,
these characters.
Fan-fucking-tastic job Ms. Meghan Quinn… I think I hate you!!
PS… please write a spin off. I need more of that last
chapter. Really, you owe me. I stayed up late reading on a work night because I
HAD to finish. I think we both know you did this all on purpose, so yeah, you
owe me! You know it!

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
