First, let’s discuss this cover…. EEKKK am I the only one loving it? I mean, look at that guys attitude… his “I’m so awesome” look! It MAKES you want to read this! The font the title is in is perfection! It’s easy to read and nice and bright. I seriously love every single thing about this cover! The Right Direction was an emotional read and Kathy Coopmans had m crying off and on with this book! I really enjoy second chance books and this one was executed perfectly! 

Joslyn and Roman had a crappy childhood and really depended on each other. They shared a special bond but things happen and life changes. Roman went off to chase his dreams of being a rock star. You can always leave your past but it doesn’t always mean you can forget it. I spent some time being mad at both of them for being so stubborn and just walking away from what they had.

Coopmans continues to write these heartbreaking stories that pull you in, break you and toss you back out healed but still aching a bit. She has a way with the written word! Just like in all Coopmans book, this one took a side road I didn’t see coming and had more suspense than I had imagined! I was also surprised by the level of action. I’m hoping this is released in audio soon too, I’ll make sure to listen to it as well!
