I went back and forth on how to rate this book. It was an ok read. It seemed really over the top and extreme to me. I think it bugged me. I seem to like books that I can relate too and I couldn’t relate to this book. But… I love seeing a big strong man go all to putty for the woman he loves. Butcher was seriously an alpha male… like beat on his chest, grab him woman and drag her to the cave type of alpha. Honestly, I might just need a break from alpha type books. They just seem to be over-taking book shelves. While I like a strong man, I don’t like the over bearing type. The redeeming quality in this is that Shay is also a strong character.

“Fucking made for me,” he growls and gives me a deep, wet kiss. He slows down and rises on his elbows, which are on either side of my face. “Made for me,” he repeats. He slowly moves inside me and my toes curl. “I love you, my Shay.”

“I love my Butcher.”

He grins and presses his forehead against mine. I grip the back of his neck, holding him to me. We come together as one, staring deep into each other’s eyes.

“I have nightmares that this is a dream,” Butcher whispers and my heart breaks a little at his words. His dark eyes look deep into mine, his face scarred up and beautiful.

Techy is the second in the Devils Souls MC series… make sure you read Torch first (which is also amazing). I’m not sure who I loved more… Alisha or Techy. Alisha was barely legal but that didn’t mean she had an easy life. In fact, Alisha has been through it… poor girl! She’s lonely, and like a lot of people these days, her only friend is in the computer… which of course is Jordan (or Techy).

Techy is such a fantastic guy and an even better hacker… hence, his name, Techy. I love a man that’s handy and sneaky! Techy is such a sweet guy. He helps Alisha start to heal. With his caring and sweet man, she can’t help but start to heal. This is totally an insta-love book and my romantic heart loved it! Techy is super sweet! Alisha and Techy are just amazing together… so hot and steamy. Such a bond… such chemistry between them. I loved his quick humor.

I really hope LeeAnn Ashers keeps these books coming! I have really enjoyed Ashers’ books. She has a great way of writing. This has a good flow… there were a few transition issues but I really liked this book! I’m hoping we get some more from this group of people… I adore them!
