Author: K. Street

Fate.
Destiny.
Whatever you wanted to call it, Macy Caldwell was mine.
She had a chance to get out of this town, but she refused to take it.
She was going to give up everything for me.
I wasn’t worth that kind of sacrifice.
In order to save her, I had to break her.

The night Nash Masters broke my heart was the catalyst for the ruin that came after.
All these years later, he was fighting for my forgiveness.
He had no idea I was the one who needed his.
The truth didn’t always set you free.
They said love conquered all, but this was war.
And everything worth having was worth fighting for.

Everything Worth Fighting For by K. Street is like being enveloped into a nice warm hug, it’s like coming home. The soft and subtle way this story sneaks up on your heart cannot be beat! There were a couple times throughout reading that I didn’t realize I was crying until I felt the tears on my face or saw them fall. This isn’t a knock you down and beat your heart out story but its light and gently nudged your heart into aching. I love stories where the main couple have this incredible history together. Nash and Macy don’t just have a history together they have just always been. They are so deeply intertwined into each other’s life they wouldn’t be able to find a way out without removing limbs.

There’s a sense of family, of togetherness in EWFF that makes me miss home, miss family. I really love the way K. Street gives us flashbacks to the early days but never too much where you’re reading two stories. It really formed a solid bond of not only a relationship with love and trust but a deep friendship built on years of memories. I can tell you I’ve really developed a deep love for these characters. Adorable little savage Shayne, even being a minor secondary character, she can’t help but steal the show. Mrs. Street creates these people who feel real and become a part of your family.

She builds stories about real life. Nothing is ever too outlandish like it would never really happen. Like I said earlier, it’s a steady and subtle way of writing and Street has perfected it!! The people, the storyline, the plot... her way of writing just nestles in to stay. I need more of these people. I’m not ready to say good bye yet, Mrs. Street!! I’m gonna need a few more relationships coming out of the woodwork here!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

RELEASE BLITZ: Everything I Never Wanted by K. Street

Title: Everything I Never Wanted
Author: K. Street
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 22, 2018

Blurb

A single dad, contemporary romance standalone.

This wasn’t supposed to be my life.

One phone call was all it took to bring me back to the small town I had grown up in. Everything had changed, and staying away was no longer an option.

Four and a half years later, I was a widowed single father still here, still trying to pick up the pieces. We were doing just fine on our own, my little girl and me.

At least, we were until Camryn Parker stumbled into our lives. The woman was like a tornado after a hurricane; she was the storm I never saw approaching. Behind her beauty and sarcastic wit, she was just as broken as I pretended not to be. As hard as I tried to resist, it was impossible not to fall in love with her.

In the end, it took nearly losing it all for me to realize everything I never wanted was exactly what I needed.

I have a huge thing going for single parent stories right now but Tucker is just perfect!! It could be because Shayne is the sweetest little girl! Camryn is pure and just so kind that I want to date her! Wait… can I just date them both and have Shayne too? This is a completely precious book. It made my heart sign in happiness. The writing in this book is spot on. It’s clear and Ms. Street paints a picture in your mind of these lovely people.

I really don’t know what else to say about Everything I Never Wanted. I was beyond what I look for in romances right down to the beautiful cover gracing the pages. Ms. Street gives us characters that we want nothing but good things happening too. Once I started this heart-filled loving induced coma of a book, I was unable to stop. I started listening at work on the text-to-talk on my Kindle and that’s like my least favorite option. But I needed to keep going. I needed everything to be lovely. There is some angst… you’ll feel your heart cry… it’ll get a little hot in here… but trust in Ms. Street. She’s got this!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
