She currently lives in beautiful British Columbia where she spends time riding on the back of her man’s bike, baking pies, and reading snuggled up with her cat Persephone. She’s a lifetime athlete, playing and coaching basketball, soccer, field hockey, and softball, so she comes by her competitive spirit naturally. A born reader and self-proclaimed geek, she is enamored with mythology, history and all kinds of literature. I mean, goodness gracious!!I love Giana Darling’s writing in Welcome to the Dark Side. This is the BEST Darling book I have read! Really, I just loved it!!

WttDS has everything I love in a romance book, a strong alpha male that’s the president of a MC! I love MC stories. I feel like Buddy the Elf here.... I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU (said while jumping up and down a screaming). Zeus, I mean, y’all know with this name alone that this man is going to be a powerhouse, totally a larger than life character.

Lou is completely Zeus’s opposite. She’s the daughter of the mayor and granddaughter of a preacher... she is expected to behave and be a certain way. She’s been fighting her urges for way too long. Zeus brings out so much of her true self and the life she long’s for. Oh, did I mention that Zeus is nearly 20 years older than her? Age is just a number when everything is pulling them together.

Oh Ms. Darling sure excels at making my heart run leaps and bounds. I felt so many emotions throughout this book. Zeus, she wrote an alpha male character that just can’t be rivaled. I’m just in awe of how fierce and nasty he is... but his heart and love for everyone he holds dear will endear you. You’ll walk on the dark side for Zeus. Lou won’t be able to help herself. Hold on during this ride... Darling is taking you all over the place, and while you might struggle a bit, the ride is so worth it.

I’ve been intrigued by Giana Darling’s covers since I first saw The Evolution of Sin trilogy. I loved the covers and I’ve marked them to read just on the covers themselves. So when I was able to read and review Lessons in Corruption I was all over it, yes without ever reading it and without seeing a cover. I mean, that title… who doesn’t want a lesson in corruption? I can tell you that King is just the man to give you that lesson! So after finally reading a Darling book I can tell you that I will be following her. Her writing is so smooth, so fluid, it flows wonderfully. She’s so descriptive that you can see the scene unfold before your eyes. Her characters are so real, so flawed that you can imagine being besties with them. She creates real people that you can relate to, people that you can understand their logic and their feelings.


King is this total alpha male. He’s outrageous and fun, strong and smart, sexy as all get-out! I really appreciated his take no prisoner type of attitude, yet he really was carefree and fun. He was definitely the equal for Cressida. She started so weak and pliable. He transformed her life and really showed her how to live life. It was touching and moving and scorchin’ hot!! I was a bit worried that Cressida was going from one controlling situation to the next but King doesn’t control her. He walks this fine balance between showing and controlling. By the end of the story, Cressida really morphed into a completely different person. It was really emotional and inspiring!
