RELEASE DAY: Forever Right Now by Emma Scott

Forever Right Now by Emma Scott
is NOW LIVE on all platforms!

Sawyer and Darlene. They are ready and waiting for you.

Darlene Montgomery has been to hell and back…more than once. After a stint in jail for drug possession, she is finally clean and ready to start over. Yet another failed relationship is just the motivation she needs to move from New York to San Francisco with the hopes of resurrecting her dance career and discovering that she is more than the sum of her rap sheet. As Darlene struggles in her new city, the last thing she wants is to become entangled with her handsome—but cranky—neighbor and his adorable little girl...

Sawyer Haas is weeks away from finishing law school, but exhaustion, dwindling finances, and the pressure to provide for himself and his daughter, Olivia, are wearing him down. A federal clerkship--a job he desperately needs--awaits him after graduation, but only if he passes the Bar Exam. Sawyer doesn’t have the time or patience for the capricious—if beautiful—dancer who moves into the apartment above his. But Darlene’s easy laugh and cheerful spirit seep into the cracks of his hardened heart, and slowly break down the walls he’s resurrected to keep from being betrayed ever again.

When the parents of Olivia’s absentee mother come to fight for custody, Sawyer could lose everything. To have any chance at happiness, he must trust Darlene, the woman who has somehow found her way past his brittle barbs, and Darlene must decide how much of her own bruised heart she is willing to give to Sawyer and Olivia, especially when the ghosts of her troubled past refuse to stay buried.

I have been hearing the Emma Scott love for quite a while now. I haven’t read her previously… the time has never worked for me or whatever the reason previously. After reading Forever Right Now, I’ll be making time for Emma Scott stories. Holly mackerel man… how can Emma Scott write so flawlessly? I feel a fool waiting so long to read her words when her fans have been shooting from the rooftops for years!

Emma Scott has given us some fantastic characters in this book. Darlene was such a perfect character that I could have read just about her! You could feel Darlene’s conflict… the emotional tug and war. I way Scott described the people, places, and things in this book made you feel like you were there… I lived in San Francisco! Who knew? I always wanted to visit! I can tell you… you will for for Darlene and Sawyer… or at least one of them! For me, Darlene totally swept ME off my feet! I adored everything about her… her heart and how she wore it on her sleeves! Just plain remarkable!

I wish more than anything that I could write just a small fraction of what Emma Scott does… maybe than I could properly convey how wonderful this book was. How much it moved me and made me think about how I treat myself. Prepare for this book to make you consider yourself… who you are and how you treat yourself and others.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Meet Author Ker Dukey

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script.I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

You can find me on Facebook where I love interacting with my readers.

Everything about this book was completely bad ass! I fell in love with the chapter headers upon first glance… yes, that’s just the aesthetics! The book, graphically speaking, is a work of art. It’s just beautiful! The overall general looks of this book is beyond amazing! It’s gorgeous and I would LOVE this in print and on my book shelf!

With an opening like this one… just know it’s going to be an awesome book. It’s a good thing this is a motorcycle club book because we go on one hell of a ride! It doesn’t let up either… there is no “down time” with this book, there is no calm before the storm… this book IS the storm! It was a complete whirlwind and I barely kept up!

I adored Avery… she was amazingly strong and I admired that quality when life kept kicking her. Slade was amazing… the BEST man and way better of a brother than one sibling deserved. The secondary characters… you’ll love them or you’ll hate them but you will most definitely feel something for them!

I devoured this book and furiously kept trying to turn the last page to more pages… but there just wasn’t any more there. Seriously BUMMED that I have to wait… but I WILL wait because this series is going to be off the charts! I’ve never read these two authors together, I have read Ker Dukey, and I’ve loved her books. However, I’ve never, EVER, loved one like this. I didn’t know where one author started and the other began. DH Sidebottom and Dukey are utter perfection together. I now see they have authored other books together, which I’m going to have to look into now as I wait for Lilith Army book 2.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
