AL Jackson can really do know wrong. I’ve been waiting on Rhys and Maggie together for ages. We learned bit by bit about Rhys through the previous two books and I’ve been impatiently awaiting his story where I would finally learn what woman had his heart. I’m thrilled to see its Maggie… this isn’t a surprise, it’s in the synopsis. These two were so broken and it seemed the only way to heel was to heel together. Ughhhhh… these two, they just broke my heart and heeled it all in the same time.

I could not get enough of this story. Jackson balances suspense with emotions flawlessly. The suspense kept me fully immersed in the words and I was barely able to sleep. The emotions kept my heart entranced and fully on the line. Every single time, Jackson ever so slowly and effortlessly develops and unfolds a story where I’m piece-by-piece trying to fit the clues togethers. I loved it; I loved the characters. I loved touching base with previous characters from the other books. The emotions were taunt and engrossing. Beneath the Stars just sucked me in like a black hole. I was left wanting to just reread it or listen to the audiobook. Y’all can bet your last dollar I’ll be seeking out that audiobooks ASAP!
