The Girl that Vanished was a bit similar to a rollercoaster
ride for me. I'd totally be into the story one minute and the next I was
struggling to stay with it. AJ Rivers has a great writing style and she really
added some twists and turns into the end. The book has so much potential but
the way Emma acts as an FBI agent is a bit of a disappointment! I'm hopeful
that over time the author develops her writing and grows. I think Emma's
character could use some fine-tuning and she'd be great. It's like this close
to being a fully developed story with complete and complex.
The narration by Clair Duncan was just as good as the first
book. She has a nice voice. It's pleasant to listen to and the time seems move
pretty quickly. I definitely recommend you listen to the books in order. It is
necessary to listen to book 1 before listening to this book. The story
continues from each one and you'll definitely get more out of the books.
