When I'm on stage, and when I'm off it.
Whether it's throngs of screaming fans or just one man, it's always outsiders. People who don't know me. Not the real me.
It's easier, because then it's not so obvious that there is no real me. Just layers of lies.
Then I'm peeled back to the nerve. Showing the world my ugly. Everyone sees me for what I am.
Rightfully so, they hate me.
Almost as much as I hate myself.
I'm willing to hate myself for what I've done. To wither away into some washed up old rock star.
But he doesn't let me.
I want to hate him.
He doesn't let me do that either.

Noah, oh Noah, my heart just ached with his struggle! Noah
does not feel worthy of love or even friendship. He's lucky that the people he
calls family and who call him the same, love him unconditionally. He has messed
up... who hasn't? The unworthiness Noah struggles with is something I think
most will relate to even if not on the same scope as Noah. In every book in
this series I have come to understand the meaning of the band's name, Unquiet
Minds, they all have their own. I felt Noah's a little sharper than the others.
It sliced my heart open and I seriously bleed tears for this character.
Anne Malcom gives me something that no other author gives with every book, a piece of her soul, her heart. I can feel it in every single novel. Censored Soul was brutal and honest. It was blunt and real. Something I feel the author portrays in every novel but they're always in different ways. I commend Miss Malcom for putting so much of herself in her work. It FEELS personal. I'd be shocked if this author wasn't a closet poet. Her words feel like double-edged swords cutting right into the heart of everything. Anne Malcom's words are precise, genuine, emotional, and fervent... if it's an inner conflict, she's tackled it with merciless honesty.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth. As she grew up, her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular, gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.
Raised in small-town New Zealand, Anne had a truly special childhood, growing up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She has backpacked across Europe, ridden camels in the Sahara, eaten her way through Italy, and had all sorts of crazy adventures. Currently living in London, she’s on a whole new adventure.
