Bennett and Winter's story felt like a whirlwind! The way Scott portrays their relationship seems so real to me, they are full on intense, strong, and fierce and the next minute they're fun and light. It's something that I found incredibly endearing and unbelievably relatable. There was something about this storyline that make me desperate to read... the angst, the passion, the suspense all mixed and mingled to create a storyline that wouldn't quit, that wouldn't let go.
I've read most of SL Scott's books and I really think this one is my favorite. Scott has offered up all of my favorite genres... romance, suspense, insta-love. Even then, it isn't just what Scott writes but how she writes it. The travel and food made me yearn for a change of scene, but it also made my mouth water. I swear, the way she puts her words together draws a scene in your mind. The reader will SEE and FEEL it all! I've been stalking Audible watching for the audiobook because I know it's going to take this story up another notch with Sebastian York and Ava Erickson as the voices!
