What an absolutely delightful story!!! Nothing Personal was
sweet as pie! I don’t exactly feel like it was a full on RomCom but it did have
some amazingly funny parts, but I did just finish a Meghan Quinn RomCom and
she’s full on 12 year old boy humor. Anyway, the characters were perfection...
well perfectly flawed and real! Poor Nova... can’t catch a break in the male
area for anything! Kessler had me laughing out in surprise several times!
Hunter stole my heart... his story... ugh! Poor kiddo, I just want to hug and
love on him!! Well, you’ve got that... the characters are seriously adorns! I
could t get enough of them!
I haven’t read but a few of Karina Halle’s books but this one will stick with me. Nothing Personal really covers the romance sub genres and I appreciate that... there’s even a bit of horror on Kessler’s side upon moving to Hawaii (ok, not really horror unless you were him!). Miss Halle really created a story that flowed so smoothly and the story seemed to ebb and flow until it was over! I’m always pleased when a story makes my heart feel it all and Nothing Personal definitely did that!!
