This is a lovely ooey gooey forbidden romance that makes me want to binge on naughty books. I mean with names like Kandy and Cane you just know it’s gonna be sickly sweet and oh so sexy!! The naughtiness and age gap definitely pulled me in and help me in. However, I did struggle with some of the maturity levels, but key reminding myself that Kandy is only 19.

The storyline continues with some drama... which I knew was going to happen. I will mention that I wasn’t mentally prepared for a cliff hanger. My heart just wasn’t prepared for it. But, I’ll continue to read the next book or two. Ms. Shanora Williams sure knows how to tell a story and pull her readers in. I’m still rooting for Kandy and Cane to get their happily ever after!
