Kim Karr can sure write some steamy romance! The
Thing About Love was amazingly hot!! Who can resist a sexy, rich, intelligent
doctor that just oozes sex appeal?? It sure isn’t Jules! Their banter had me
rolling! The way they danced around each other and tried to avoid the
attraction that was pulling them together like magnets was so humorous! Why do
people fight it? I knew this was going to be a super fun book when Jules has
vowed that she would never become attracted to such a “pompous ass” and Jake
has sworn off love… yeah, you saw this coming a mile away, right?
Karr delivered such a fun and sweet story. It was
nice that it wasn’t an entirely emotional read… I really wanted something light
and fun and Karr delivered. Yeah, there was some drama, there was some emotion
(you can’t have love without emotion, can you?) but it was done nicely and not
too deep.
