Enduring the ultimate betrayal on her eighteenth birthday by the one person she loves most in the world, Mia Walker is no longer the innocent, sweet, young woman she used to be. She is now cold and hard, letting no one get close to her heart, except family.

Mackai (Mac) Weston sees the changes in Mia on a daily basis. He knows he is the reason Mia is now the way she is. Never given the chance to explain what really happened that night so long ago, Mac is determined to make Mia finally listen and reclaim what was always his.

When the truth finally comes out, danger shows its ugly face. There are people in Jaded Hollow that do not want Mac and Mia together. They are willing to do what ever it takes to keep them apart.

Will Mac be strong enough to overcome temptation, even when the odds are against him? Will Mia forgive Mac when she realizes things weren't what they seemed ten years ago?

**WARNING! This book contains content like rape, drugs, and hard situations that may trigger bad memories for those that have been in similar situations. Not suitable for anyone under 18.***

About Alex:
Alex Grayson is the bestselling author of heart pounding, emotionally gripping contemporary romance including The Jaded Series, The Consumed Series, and two standalone novels. Her passion for books was reignited by a gift from her sister-in-law intended to distract Alex and help her pass the time while her husband was away for work. After spending several years as a devoted reader and blogger, Alex decided to write and independently publish her first novel in 2014 (an endeavor that took a little longer than expected). The rest, as they say, is history.

Originally a southern girl, Alex now lives in Ohio with her husband, two children, two cats and dog. She loves the color blue, homemade lasagna, casually browsing real estate, and interacting with her readers. Visit her website, www.alexgraysonbooks.com, or find her on social media!

I fell for Alex Grayson’s writing in Pitch Dark and was thrilled to see a chance at revisiting Grayson’s previous series. This second book in the Jaded series is fantastic! If you read Shatter Me, than you know Grayson writes with a purpose, to break all her reader’s hearts… that has to be it, right? The character development in this series is phenomenal! Seriously, it’s been a while since I’ve read a book and talked about the characters as if they’re my friends! That’s what I’ve done with Reclaim Me. I’m just so in love with this series! I’d say it would be best to read these books in order. While you could read them as a standalone you will meet characters from the first book and we’ll meet others for some upcoming books.

So Mia and Mac… I knew this couple was going to be a super emotional read! Boy, was it?! Mac broke Mia’s heart 10 years ago and they’ve been avoiding each other since.  They were once so in love, it was clear that they were meant for each other. However, they can’t have any type of a civil conversation now. Mia wants nothing, like absolutely nothing to do with Mac. Mac isn’t prepared to give up. He’s sat by for 10 years and did nothing (silly guy). That’s also the reason I removed half a star rating. I mean, the 10 years of waiting is just plain stupid to me.

Grayson does a brilliant job of portraying the feelings of her characters. I can tell you that I felt their emotions right there with them! I laughed, I sighed (a lot), I shook my head at them, I teared up a bit, and they put me through the ringer. Once the truth was out, I was left revealing. Mac broke my heart and I loved him a bit more after it was all over. This was brilliant writing! Keep em coming! I’m thrilled to read the next book, Unveil Me, about Andrew and Jase. I don’t read a ton of M/M, actually this will be my second one.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I will leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
