Callie Miller loves drama. As a theatre major, that’s a given.

It’s hard to date in the theatre department when all the guys are either taken or gay—like her best friend and longtime crush.

When Callie becomes the lead in the biggest production of the year, she realizes she has no time for love.

Until Sebastian “Bash” Moore reenters her life, stage left.

He left everything behind three years ago to chase his dreams. But his heart remained at home, tied to memories of a tiny blonde with a flair for the dramatics—on and off the stage.

Bash is determined to become her leading man, and he will do anything to get out of the friend-zone and win her love. Only, it might not be so easy.

Callie Miller might love drama, but she’s out to protect her heart…

Bashful was a super cute story! It was super light and funny. I enjoyed Bash and Callie a ton! I love a good second chance romance. It helps that Bash was incredibly swoon-worthy. He was such a sweet guy, a good guy. I was tickled to get a bit of a view on the theater drama that Lo Brynolf gave us in Bashful. It was fun and I really enjoyed watching the drama surrounding the theater.

I enjoyed the characters. Callie just seemed so down to earth. She’s funny and really determined. I’d enjoy knowing any of them. Brynolf’s writing was good. I enjoyed the progression of the story. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is just because it was good. Nothing popped or stood especially out. I enjoyed it and everything but I didn’t feel a huge surge of anything.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
