The Romantic Pact that I didn't
realize was coming. Woops, I almost finished my review without talking about
the heat level. It would have been a travesty if I accidentally skipped that.
Havel and Crew were like lava... leaving everything scorched in their wake!
They were definitely wiggle-worthy listening material!
The narrators really brought a pulse to Hazel and
Crew. Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro had their work cut out for them. I mean, the
emotions and antics in this story have a wide range and they just poured
everything into the book. The way both Paige and Navarro were able to portray
their grief and struggling to heel was beautiful and might have had me wiping
my eyes several times. But they also showed a playfulness that you could hear
in their voices. There was a fondness that the characters felt for each other
that I felt in the narration as well as the words in the story. This is my
favorite type of audiobook... where it's felt in the emotions of the narrators
and the words of the story. I don't think anything could have made this better
in my opinion... a full 5 stars from me!
