RELEASE DAY: Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox

Baby Mine (Hunter & Lennon, #1)

Roommate Duet Series

By Kennedy Fox

Release Day  April 23

I saw her first.

Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.

I was smitten.

But it didn’t matter because she chose him and
he was my best friend and roommate. I’d never be able to compete with that, so
I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t
have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us.

Now, I’m screwed.

To her singing in the shower every morning,
dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living
room, I can’t stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways. She’s not mine and
never will be, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to push her against a wall
and claim her mouth.

She’s constantly on me for making messes,
bringing chicks home every weekend, and being a smartass when their PDA gets on
my nerves. Considering neither of them know how I feel, it’s not fair for the
way I act toward them. I should move out so I can get over her for good;
however, the selfish part of me can’t let go.

But then the unthinkable happens...

When my best friend dies in a motorcycle
accident, the two of us are left to grieve our loss together. Instead of
pushing her away, I pull her closer.

Just as we come to terms with our new reality,
she finds out she’s pregnant with his baby.

And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my
life...

It has been a while since a book has touched my heart like Baby Mine has. Meghan Quinn had a double duet that slightly reminds me of this storyline. It might have been those books that last made me feel like Baby Mine has. I don’t read books where multiple people love one person. Life is messy and cruel enough without that. However, here is sit… crying again over a messy story where a friend is in love with his best friends woman. Ya’ll get that from the blurb… I’m not giving secrets away. While I can say these things… simply and factual, nothing is in fast simple or factual. You don’t do that with feelings. Feelings are messy and turbulent and that is exactly how I feel in my heart right now.

I knew when I opened (figuratively since I read an ebook) this story that it was going to be emotional. Let me just say… you don’t know. You might think, I’m ready but you’re not ready for Hunter, Lennon, and Brandon. These three will make you feel so many darn conflicting emotions. You might actually call Kennedy Fox some names. Ok, ok… you will call them names. I did and I don’t regret one letter of the names I called them… unless taking it all back will get me Baby Yours quicker because I need Baby Yours. Stat. Anyway, I’ve read like one other book by these women so I really wasn’t aware of the way they play with their reader’s feelings and hearts. They are brutal.

I know all I’ve really discussed is how they messed with my heart but this story is seriously epic. I want you all to go in knowing it IS going to be painful. You are going to want to toss your reading device. You are going to curse whoever recommended this book to you. But you are going to hang on every word written by Kennedy Fox. The way they confuse your mind and heart… the way the make you fall for two amazing men who both love one fabulous woman. Baby Mine goes over so many thoughts and emotions that go along with life. It’s a beautiful story about loving, about grieving, and about learning to live again, starting over and letting go. Read this story… the writing is perfection. You won’t walk away the same.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
