It really doesn't matter to my what type of romance Meghan Quinn writes, as long as she writes. The Runaway Groomsman had everything we want in a Quinn story, from her fabulous witty banter, to her fall-outta-the-chair humor, to her completely insane but totally likeable secondary characters. I'm not really sure who I loved more... the main characters, Sawyer and Fallon, or supporting characters, Sunny or Jaz. First, I loved the beginning wedding part of this story. I was roaring with laughter by the time Sawyer made it to the bar. I really enjoyed the way Sawyer and Fallon had already met. It gave it another fun aspect to the story.

I really loved how unique and fun this story is. It's a love story inside of a love story. It gives me a Notebook vibe but with a ton more humor in my opinion. Quinn creates a hilarious town with tons of lively, unique characters. I do think this story was a bit more slower paced in the middle than I'm used to from Meghan Quinn. I wasn't bothered by the bit of slowness, it felt like it developed the story and all the people fully. I'm not sure of the last time I felt so immersed in such a story. The narrators, Samantha Brentmoor and Alastair Haynesbridge, added a breath of fresh air to this story. They did an amazing job at bringing such a story to life with the vast array of quirky characters. It wasn't just funny though, they brought a truckload of feelings to the story. I'm seriously crossing my fingers we get to revisit Canoodle, CA, again!
