Title: Room For Us

Author: L.M. Halloran

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About Room For Us:

Ethan Hart thinks I’m his maid. Too bad I need his money more than my pride.

The intense, arrogant author has booked my entire Inn to write his next fictional masterpiece.

I have no choice but to put up with his demands.

Breakfast is a daily endurance test.

Making his bed and doing his wash? A different kind of torture.

And that’s not even the worst part.

With his haunted eyes, frozen heart, and heated touch,

Ethan makes me burn in ways I swore I never would again.

There’s no place in my life for him, nor in his for me.

But six weeks together might create...

Just enough room for us.

Room for Us by LM Halloran is my top read of 2021 so far. Lord have mercy does this woman write breathtakingly perfect. Every single time I read a book she's written I’m drawn in. However, Room for Us is my favorite.  The way she describes things and the story flows... it just seems so natural. I couldn't stop reading if I was paid too. The fact that there are only 20 reviews on Goodreads while I'm writing this is a travesty. This is one of the best books I've read in months and the best of this year for sure. Halloran manages to balance the emotional with some fun and a bit of crazy and, of course, love, flawlessly. I'm never stuck with one emotion for too long and it is does it in a way that feels natural. I'm just in plain awe of her writing, her character development,  her way of creating emotions... I'm just plain awestruck.

Zoey is just brilliant.  Yes, she currently feels as though her life is crumbling beneath her feet. She's quit her job that she hated. She's newly divorced to a cheating douchcanoe. She doesn't have anywhere to live. You'd think it'd end with the dreaded three's rule, but it doesn't. Oh no, life just keeps on sucking for Zoey. Her favorite aunt has passed away. It could be her luck is changing as Zoey inherits an Inn they've all spent much time at growing up. This Inn isn't in the best shape, physically or financially. With her family pressing on her to sell, Zoey plans to take a year and in walks Ethan. Ethan rents the Inn for a year and could be her financial saving grace, at least for a while. But Ethan is feeling the crumbly ground as well. His writers block is real and his extensions, extensions have finally ended and his deadline is quickly approaching. The Inn promises quite. Respite. Hope to get those ol' clogs moving again. His rusted out old heart gets moving again as be starts to see Zoey for more than his crazy innkeeper. Can these two broken bits fit together or with they just crumble from the pressure?

I implore people to read Room for Us. I'd be struck dumb if you didn't enjoy it.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
