REVIEW TOUR: The Stray Prince by Ella Fields

THE DUET IS COMPLETE!

THE STRAY PRINCE BY ELLA FIELDS IS NOW LIVE!

I have your queen. If you wish to see her again, you know what you need to do...

After months of burgeoning peace, Queen Audra is doing her utmost to help Rosinthe further cleanse itself of the stains her father left in his wake.

With the steadfast lord of the east at her side, and her estranged husband returning to his duties in the Sun Kingdom, it would appear that order has finally been restored.

But nothing is ever as it seems.

A mystical land has awakened, and after being locked unto itself for many years, its king wants more than answers.

He and his realm are in need of something else, and he’ll stop at nothing to retrieve it.

Hearts will break. Blood will spill. Desire will destroy. When two worlds collide, can love endure when vengeance must reign?

A King So Cold

I gotta say, that poetic blurb pulled me in the very first time I read it and everything since I've been obsessed with the anticipation of it all. Then the cover was revealed and I was floored, the book is gorgeous, it's stunning... i want to pet it! Then that lovely ARC landed on my kindle and I started reading, well Ella James took me on a ride that I have never been on. Ella James killed fantasy! I'm not a huge fantasy or paranormal lover. I do have a handful of authors whom I will read every word they write, no matter the genres they dabble in. Ella James is in that handful. I'm so glad she is because I would have missed out severely. I think the best thing about Miss James' story is the lack of boundaries or rules. There is nothing off limit within these pages.

I don't want to even try my hand at really dissecting the story, I'll never do it justice. I’ve read the last 4 or 5 books Ella James has written and I haven't found one that wasn't remarkable. However, A King So Cold makes me wish for adjectives better than amazing or fantastic, or even better than perfect. It had all the elements that I need in a book. The plot of the story had me mesmerized... I had to know what happened and it didn't matter if I liked the characters or not. Which brings me to the characters, I was invested in the people, humans and mystical, I was in this story for them! The dialog between the characters kept me enamored. I was fascinated with the developments, the betrayals. Audra was such a vivid character. Just all of these elements hit me and made this story unstoppable!!

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Contains dark themes.
