RELEASE DAY: Buried Destiny by Anne Malcom

BURIED DESTINY

The Vein Chronicles #4
By Anne Malcom
Release Date: February 29

Death.

For everyone, even immortals, there is nothing after death. No takebacks, no comebacks. It's a full stop.

The end of a story. The end of everything.

For Sophie, it's little more than a comma. A prelude. A footnote in her true destiny.

She was fated to die.

Many times.

To know what lay beneath in the underworld.

To bring the darkness back with her.

It has been patient, that power that brought her back.

But now, it's ready.

She is ready, for her true beginning.

For the end of everyone standing in her way.

Starting with a wolf she once loved.

A vampire she once treasured.

Destiny will wait for her no longer.

Sophie is the best!! I was beyond heartbroken at the end of Anne Malcom's last book in this series. Isla and Sophie are two of the best kick ass women leads. They don't mess around and I love that about them. They have this very real-feeling friendship and aren't afraid to keep it real with each other. They're blunt and honest, like friends should be. I feel like Anne Malcom shows us how friendships between women should be... lifting each other up, watching their back and fixing their crowns. I applaud Miss Malcom for having the respect for other women.

Anyway, besides that, we get reunited with all my favorites in The Vein Chronicles. This crew is a heap of fun and they're seriously down and dirty! I'm not a huge paranormal lover but I have found that if Anne Malcom creates the story, I am going to love it! Anne is just able to really create an entire world that sucks (love the pun) you in. It's crazy to me that I find myself pouring through her world like I need to know the ins and out for my survival. Plus, if you've read Anne Malcom's books before you know she creates these bonds between various characters that effect the reader. I was thrilled to get a strait up Sophie story since I feel like I had to know more of her. I feel like that about so many of secondary characters... there are times I'm lost in author groups or various chats with other readers that I know I'm not alone... I want stories on all of them. It's all because Anne's words and worlds are so compelling, so fascinating. She provides an amazing escape.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Meet Anne Malcolm

Anne Malcom  has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth. As she grew up, her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular, gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.
Raised in small-town New Zealand, Anne had a truly special childhood, growing up in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. She has backpacked across Europe, ridden camels in the Sahara, eaten her way through Italy, and had all sorts of crazy adventures. Currently living in London, she’s on a whole new adventure.
