Jane always longed for security and thought she found it when she married Stewart. When stress takes a toll on their marriage, she hires yoga instructor Shana to help him, but finds that sometimes inviting a stranger into your home means they never leave.

Tossed out of her home and marriage, penniless, while Shana sleeps in her place, Jane is brutally attacked. With help from Billy, the cop who saved her life, Jane takes on a new identity to hide from the man who assaulted her. Hiding is exhausting, but she’s not sure who to trust. Even Billy has past ties to her husband.

While the cops hunt for her attacker, a run-in with Shana exposes a secret that could result in a new madman on Jane’s tail– Stewart. Both women are in peril and Jane must decide if she can help the woman who ruined her marriage.

Will she be able to save them both or is the danger closer than either of them imagines?

Love Jane RD-15

I've been giddy thinking about Jane getting her own story. It is not necessary to read Dear Anna before reading Love, Jane; the two stories aren't exactly connected to reach other. I wish say that I loved both novels and if you like a good story where the average woman finds her inner strength to break free from years of abuse and turmoil than I'd highly recommend reading both books. I would love if this empowering series continued on with more people getting just what they deserve!!

I really like Jane. I feel like she's a woman most will be able to relate to. She put her trust, all of it, into one person. He was suppose to treat her precious but didn't. In the end, he discarded her for a newer model. It's a clichéd story for a reason. It happens way more than it should and it's a huge fear among women, perhaps even men, I'm sure. Anyway, Jane is quite the conundrum. She's hardened and aloft but she cares way more than she wants too.

I feel like Katie Blanchard keeps developing and writing better than her last story. I really hope she sticks to thrillers/women's fiction. Blanchard has a way to bring her characters to life and creates a situation that feels dire and impossible. I really enjoyed her secondary characters. While this book covers matters that many would find hard to read about, I found this book only to feel empowering. Blanchard really focuses on the strength of her damaged characters and I think that just gives the lead to others that getting out is possibly. Living a happy and fulfilling life is possible.

I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.
