Gahhhh, I don't even know what to say in this review. Dylan Allen has me all kinds of messed up. I'm seriously in dire need of the conclusion to Beth and Carter's story!! My heart, my heart just can't handle this story. There were certain scenes where I felt like my heart was racing from the emotions packed into these words. I mean, good Lord!! I've been sitting here thinking about the choices, the options they have. I keep thinking I know what choice I want Beth to make.... but then, all those secrets and the betrayal. I just don't know what's going to happen!! My jaw sat slack-jawed through revelation after revelation and I'm still wondering... what else am I missing? There's more here and I'm slightly scared to know it all!

Dylan Allen is poetic with her words. She holds my attention from the first word written to the last. I know when pick up a book with her name across the cover that I am going to get words so poetic and beautiful it just flows like the ocean, clear and achingly heartfelt. With every story she creates I get more and more attached to her lyrical tales. If I am looking for drama or angst... feelings of confusion and deception, I know that Allen will deliver. Between Now and Heartbreak was stunning, unbelievably so. It's worth well more than the 5 stars I have rated it.
