I'm a serious book junkie and since reading
Unexpected Reality a couple years ago, I've nearly read 800 (give or take)
books. So my mind was a bit foggy on the entire happenings of the first book
when I started reading Unexpected Fight. However, most of the story came back
to me. I didn't really recall Tyler or Reagan from that book. I quickly fell
for Ty though. There's been an increase in the brother's best friend genre...
or perhaps I'm searching them out more. Whatever the case is, Ty handled the
situation with Ridge perfectly. I really admired him at that moment. Then… it
was on. Tyler does not play around! He’s in it and he’s tired of dancing around
the attraction between him and Reagan.
Kaylee Ryan is a superb author. She creates
characters that you will end up caring about. It has to be a serious talent to
create characters that seem real and that the reader ends up feeling for,
caring for. I devoured this story and felt those happy sighs too many times
deep in my heart! Not only does she develop a gorgeous story that you just
adore… but she gave this book an amazing cover! Good Lord, just looking at it…
the black and white image with that green/teal color from the text is
breath-taking. It matches the first book in the series perfectly. I really hope
she creates the same look with all of the books in the series… and I’ll need
them on my shelf.
