You know, Kate Stewart is one of those authors that are on
my automatic one click list. No matter what kind of genre she writes it always
has amazing characters with some seriously fantastic writing. Stewart has this
inept talent to write a story so darn hilarious with this sweet and adorably
charming side to it. Then she unleashes the angst and adds in some sexual
tension that makes this story unstoppable. I couldn't stop reading! The way
Stewart writes is mesmerizing!!
I was quickly pulled in by Theo's charm. He's such an adorable and thoughtful guy. He's sincere and sweet. He seriously wears his heart on his sleeve and is open and kind. Theo is honestly the college guy every girl should be looking for but he's often friendzoned. In comes Laney, Laney has this type of in your face personality. She's upbeat and the life of the party. They immediately hit it off... as besties. I love it when you meet someone and you can just be yourself, fully. It's refreshing to be able to be real with someone of the opposite sex and they are real with each other.
I was completely smitten, enamored. I never wanted this story to end. Kate Stewart has a way, just a way. She creates the funniest and realest characters. In the end, I feel like I know them. If you're pondering on whether to purchase The Guy on the Right... ask yourself if you're looking for one of the realest feeling books that promises to keep a wistful, happy smile on your face. If that's a resounding yes, ok even if you said no, y'all need this fun- loving besties-to-lovers romance.

About the Author:
A Texas native, Kate Stewart lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense because it's what she loves as a reader. Kate is a lover of all things '80s and '90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whiskey.
